As a Driver Recruiter, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for drivers from sourcing and interviewing candidates through to onboarding and retention.

You ll play a key role in ensuring a consistent supply of qualified, engaged drivers while delivering an excellent candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source driver candidates using social media platforms and digital recruitment tools
  • Conduct daily searches across job boards and recruitment channels
  • Maintain a strong presence on Facebook and other recruitment platforms
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates
  • Promote the business and driver opportunities effectively
  • Clearly explain role requirements, company operations, and employment terms
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout recruitment activities
  • Manage the onboarding process from offer acceptance through to start date
  • Maintain regular communication with drivers before their start date
  • Send pre-start documentation, checklists, and joining instructions
  • Ensure all onboarding arrangements are completed accurately and on time
  • Support ongoing driver engagement and retention activities
  • Act as a key point of contact for drivers
  • Build positive working relationships and address concerns proactively
  • Help create a positive employee experience

Requirements

  • Previous recruitment experience, ideally within logistics, transport, automotive, or operational environments
  • Confident using social media and digital sourcing tools for recruitment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and compliance awareness
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Full UK Driving Licence required
