Ready to get moving in a hands-on, fast-paced role? We're growing fast and looking for Compound Drivers to join our busy automotive operation in Killingholme. If you enjoy working outdoors, driving a variety of vehicles, and being part of a supportive team - this could be the perfect next step for you. What You'll Be Doing: You'll play a key role in keeping our vehicle compound running smoothly by:
- Safely moving, parking, and storing vehicles in line with company and customer standards
- Using a handheld device to accurately track vehicle movements
- Carrying out basic vehicle maintenance checks (tyre inflation, safety checks, etc.)
- Coordinating with team members to manage vehicle flow around the yard
- Completing valet/wash services to ensure vehicles are ready for delivery
- Supporting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI), including checks on fluids, batteries, tyres, lights, brakes, wipers, and overall vehicle condition
- Recording and reporting any damage or defects to the Team Leader
- Aged 22 or over (for insurance purposes)
- Full UK Driving Licence (less than 6 penalty points, no DR10 offences)
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and happy working outdoors
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Keen to learn and take on new challenges
