Shifts: Monday - Friday (operational hours mostly 8-6pm or 10 β 8pm).

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Resident Doctor in Oncology to join the expert medical team. In this pivotal role, you'll work within a specialist oncology service. You'll collaborate closely with world-class consultants, oncology nurses, and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver exceptional, patient-centred care. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop your oncology expertise in a state-of-the-art private hospital setting that combines advanced technology, research innovation, and a strong focus on clinical excellence.
What you'll do:
- You will provide medical cover to the outpatient chemotherapy day unit.
- You will also be responsible for checking outpatient prescriptions and protocols and approving medication.
- You will establish great relationships with a large pool of outpatients, as well as work closely with world-renowned experts within the medical field.
- Successful candidates will work within a team of oncology specialists to develop a personalised private patient treatment plan, tailored towards patient unique needs and diagnosis.
- You will deliver an integrative approach to cancer care that supports patients physical, emotional and spiritual needs in the outpatients setting.
- As the specialist doctor on shift you will be responsible for medically assessing patients receiving chemotherapy treatment and managing any emergencies which may arise with the guidance of the consultant in charge.
What you'll bring:
- Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practise in the UK
- Completion of Foundation Training, plus a minimum of IM2-4 / Core Medical Training (CM2-4) or equivalent experience
- Full MRCP qualification
- Proven experience (minimum 4 years) managing oncology patients across haematology and solid tumour cases
- A commitment to teamwork, compassionate care, and delivering a first-class patient experience
- Motivation to develop within the role as our cancer services continue to expand.
