Job Title: Roofing Foreman – Diagnostics & Remedial Works

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Roofing Foreman with excellent diagnostic skills to act as the first response on roofing issues. This hands-on role involves attending site, assessing roofing problems, carrying out immediate repairs, and feeding back detailed findings to our internal sales support team so that further works can be scoped and quoted if needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend sites across the UK as the first point of contact for reported roofing issues
• Complete initial surveys/diagnostics and identify root causes of ingress, damage or failure
• Carry out immediate remedial works (e.g. sealing, patching, clearing, minor repairs)
• Take accurate site notes, measurements and photos to support the creation of follow-on quotes
• Liaise clearly with the in-house sales support team to pass on all findings
• Advise on required next steps and materials where additional works are needed
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with RAMS and H&S best practices
• Represent RMLFS professionally on client sites at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in commercial roofing
• Deep knowledge of flat and pitched roofing systems and common issues
• Confidence diagnosing leaks, tracking ingress and identifying root causes
• Skilled in delivering small repairs to a high standard
• Organised and methodical with strong written and verbal communication
• Comfortable using phones/tablets to record findings and upload photos
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable Extras

• First Aid at Work
• Working at Height / PASMA / IPAF
• SSSTS or similar (or willing to complete)
• Familiarity with FM clients or national retailers

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
