We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Production Planner to take ownership of planning across our production and manufacturing operations. This key role supports the delivery of cutting-edge engineering programmes across vehicle, battery, and component manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the master production schedule, ensuring alignment with project milestones and customer deliveries.
- Translate engineering Bills of Materials (BoMs) and build requirements into clear, executable manufacturing plans.
- Coordinate planning across fabrication, machining, composites, paint, battery build, and final assembly.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and conflicting priorities early, and drive effective mitigation actions.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Programmes teams to manage design changes, build phases, and long-lead procurement.
- Provide senior-level reporting on schedule adherence, work-in-progress, and resource utilisation.
- Support continuous improvement of planning processes, systems (MRP/ERP), and cross-functional workflows.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Significant production planning experience within automotive, motorsport, aerospace, or a similar complex, low-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, composites, paint, and assembly.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BoMs, and change documentation.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems to manage complex, multi-stage production schedules.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive, structured, and solutions-focused approach.
- Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Experience with Syteline (or similar ERP systems).
- Exposure to high-voltage (HV) battery assembly processes.
