We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Electrical Technician to support our Electrical & Electronics team across a range of activities, including harness assembly, electronics build and test, and on-vehicle diagnostics. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced engineering environment.

  • Build, maintain, service, and test production-level electrical assemblies in line with work instructions and safety standards.
  • Support prototype and pre-production builds, helping refine assembly processes and resolve issues ahead of full production.
  • Manufacture one-off prototype wiring harnesses (LV & HV), sensors, test rigs, and related assemblies.
  • Perform on-vehicle electrical diagnostics, wiring, and remedial work using appropriate test equipment.
  • Plan and manage workload in collaboration with the department manager to meet project timelines, cost, and quality targets.
  • Capture and track engineering concerns through internal processes to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and safe working practices.
  • Undertake ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance technical competence.

Proven experience as an Engineering or Build Technician within OEM, Tier 1 supplier, engineering consultancy, or motorsport environments.

  • Strong background in electrical diagnostics and fault finding across mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and work instructions.
  • Experience working in high-performance or fast-paced engineering settings is highly desirable.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic fabrication and machining skills.
  • Able to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
