Business Development Manager, Nottingham (Office based)

RMK Talent Solutions is partnering with a dynamic organisation seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to join their expanding team in Nottingham. The successful candidate will play a key part in prospecting new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and supporting overall fundraising initiatives, all within a supportive and professional environment designed to foster career development.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain strong relationships with a network of financial advisers
• Identify and prospect new business opportunities to expand the organisation’s reach
• Lead outreach efforts via telephone to open new accounts and grow existing ones
• Conduct cold calling, follow up on marketing generated leads, and attend industry events
• Book meetings for Senior Business Development Managers through Zoom, phone, or face-to-face engagements
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support throughout the client journey
• Keep CRM (Salesforce) data accurate and utilise insights to drive activity
• Stay informed on market regulations and product knowledge to maintain industry relevance
• Achieve quarterly and annual performance targets to support organisational growth

Requirements

• Experience exceling in a sales and target driven role - FX, Recruitment and car sales backgrounds have proven successful previously.
• Excellent communication skills, confident in engaging and building rapport
• Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to business development
• Legally eligible to work in the UK
• GCSEs A–C in Maths & English (or equivalent)
