We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager for our service in Bedford, we pay up to £32,500 depending on experience. How would you feel about helping others and doing the things that you both enjoy, whilst getting paid to do them? More about the role: As a Deputy Service Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with daily management of our Supported Living establishment in Bedford, the type of care we offer varies according to our clients. You will be responsible for the welfare of our Supported Living accommodation and ensuring the appropriate standards are always maintained. Typical work activities can vary but will include a range of the following:

  • Complying with national care standards
  • Taking responsibility for the quality care provided
  • Remaining up to date with relevant care standards legislation
  • Supporting our clients to manage their budgets
  • To participate in training and be responsible for your own development as well as that of your team.
  • Working alongside other professionals to develop specialised services, e.g. drug rehabilitation, occupational therapy, specialist teaching and art therapy etc.

You must have an excellent knowledge of CQC requirements and standards and strive to go above and beyond. It takes a special person to work in social care, and we recognise that not everyone who might be perfect for the role will have management experience.
