We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager for our service in Bedford, paying up to £30,000 depending on experience. More about the role: As a Deputy Service Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily management of our Supported Living establishment in Bedford. The type of care we offer varies according to our clients. You will be responsible for the welfare of our Supported Living accommodation and ensuring the appropriate standards are always maintained. Typical work activities can vary but will include a range of the following:
- Complying with national care standards
- Taking responsibility for the quality care provided
- Remaining up to date with relevant care standards legislation
- Supporting our clients to manage their budgets
- Participating in training and being responsible for your own development as well as that of your team
- Working alongside other professionals to develop specialised services, e.g. drug rehabilitation, occupational therapy, specialist teaching and art therapy
