A high-growth, mission-driven cybersecurity scale-up are looking for a Head of QA to elevate quality from a process to a culture — embedding automation, consistency, and collaboration across all products and teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the QA transformation strategy across web, desktop, and mobile security products
- Embed automation-first principles into the secure development lifecycle
- Build scalable frameworks and test architectures for complex, multi-platform environments
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve reliability, visibility, and release confidence
- Define and track key quality metrics including automation coverage, defect escape rate, and release stability
- Coach and scale a high-performing QA team while fostering a culture of shared quality ownership
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Product, and Security teams
- Champion modern tooling, continuous improvement, and data-led decision-making to reduce risk and accelerate delivery
What You Bring
- Proven leadership in QA within high-growth or cybersecurity-focused environments
- Strong hands-on expertise in automation framework design, CI/CD integration, and test reliability
- Advanced programming experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python
- Experience leading QA across multi-platform stacks (web, desktop, mobile)
- Track record of mentoring and scaling QA teams while embedding a culture of ownership and accountability
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance speed, risk, and user trust
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Familiarity with performance testing, observability, and modern QA tooling
- Passion for building secure, seamless user experiences that earn customer confidence
