The Opportunity

We’re supporting a major, high-profile digital transformation programme within a UK public sector environment and are looking for an experienced Content Designer to join the team for an initial 6-month contract. You’ll be working on complex, user-facing services that support critical national operations. This is a chance to make a real impact while working with a modern, delivery-focused team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing clear, user-centred content across complex digital services
  • Working closely with UX, product, delivery, and policy stakeholders
  • Running content audits, user research and content testing
  • Creating and maintaining content patterns and standards
  • Ensuring content meets GDS, accessibility and service design principles
  • Iterating content based on insight, data, and user needs

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Content Designer on large digital programmes
  • Strong understanding of GDS standards and service design
  • Experience in government or regulated environments
  • Comfortable working in multidisciplinary agile teams
  • Active SC Clearance (mandatory)
  • UK-based and open to occasional travel
