Are you a UX Designer who loves turning complex problems into clear, intuitive experiences? We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join a dynamic product team on a 6-month contract. Your mission is to lead the design of a key product as it moves to a new platform, helping shape user journeys, flows and interactions that make a real impact.
Location: Belfast (hybrid - 2 days/week in the office with potential for some flexibility)
Start Date: Immediate (ideally before Christmas)
Duration: 6 months (potential to extend or become permanent)
Day Rate: Β£400/day, outside IR35
What You Will Be Doing:
- Leading end-to-end UX for a technical product area undergoing platform migration.
- Running user research - writing scripts, conducting sessions and synthesising insights into actionable designs.
- Designing complex flows, wireframes and high-fidelity screens.
- Prototyping and validating solutions with users.
- Evolving and challenging the existing design system.
- Collaborating with a close-knit agile team including PM, Engineering Manager, Engineers and an Analyst.
What You Will Bring:
- Strong senior-level UX experience with complex products.
- Expertise in information architecture, navigation design and design systems.
- Proven ability to lead research and turn insights into practical, elegant designs.
- A portfolio that clearly demonstrates process, thinking and outcomes, not just visual polish.
- Problem-solving mindset and creative approach to design challenges.
- Financial services or regulated sector experience is a plus.
