RMErecruit is proud to be partnering with a fast-growing, commercially driven business looking for a proactive Accounts Manager to oversee their transaction finance operations. Acting as the vital link between daily transactional accounting and the wider commercial team, you will supervise workflows, streamline processes, and drive team efficiency. This is the perfect role for a hands-on finance supervisor who loves variety, process improvement, and cross-department collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transactional Team Leadership: Supervise the transactional finance team, coordinate daily workflows, and identify opportunities to automate manual tasks.
- Ledger Management: Oversee and maintain the end-to-end Sales and Purchase Ledgers, ensuring accurate invoice processing, query resolution, and efficient transactional workflows.
- Commercial Finance Support: Deliver monthly WIP (Work in Progress) reports to the commercial/sales team and provide practical transactional insights into management account variances.
- Core Accounts & Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations, facilitate monthly employee expenses, and support the month-end close.
- Operational Control: Review weekly payroll activities to ensure accuracy across the transactional function.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience supervising transactional finance activities (Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and core reconciliations).
- A tech-savvy mindset with an eye for automating manual, repetitive tasks.
- Excellent communication skills to act as the bridge between transactional finance and the commercial team.
