RMErecruit is working exclusively with a prominent and expanding business to source a highly motivated and organised Sales & Customer Administrator. This is a crucial role, and we are the only agency managing this recruitment drive. This opportunity is designed for someone who excels at operational efficiency and delivering excellent customer service. This is an onsite role.

The Role:

  • Customer & Sales Support Frontline Service: Act as the first point of contact, handling all inbound enquiries (phone/email) efficiently, providing accurate information on stock availability, pricing, and order progress.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key trade accounts, upholding the client's reputation for service excellence.
  • Effective Resolution: Proactively manage and resolve all customer service issues, from delivery discrepancies to invoicing queries.
  • Quotation Conversion: Generate professional sales quotes and conduct effective follow-ups to convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
  • Order Management & Administration: Take ownership of the order lifecycle, accurately processing all sales orders from entry through to invoicing using the company’s ERP/CRM system.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate closely with the Warehouse/Logistics department to schedule picking, packing, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain precise and up-to-date records for pricing structures, products, and customer account details.

The Person

  • Experience: Essential prior experience in an administrative, sales support, or customer service role, ideally within a wholesale, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Proven ability to manage high-volume data accurately with exceptional organisational skills.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
