About the Role

Are you a highly organised professional with a strong background in construction finance? RMErecruit is seeking a dedicated Office Manager (Accounts, Payroll & CIS) to join a dynamic team based in the Lisburn area. This role beautifully blends traditional office management with core financial responsibilities. You will oversee a small accounts team, manage construction-specific compliance, and ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our financial and administrative functions. Key Responsibilities

  • Financial & Compliance Management: Ensure strict compliance with the CIS scheme and all statutory filing obligations.
  • Payroll Oversight: Conduct high-level reviews of weekly payroll to ensure accuracy.
  • Cashflow & Costing: Prepare daily cashflow reporting and provide vital job costing reports to the wider finance team.
  • Systems & Upgrades: Play a key role in the upcoming implementation of a new ERP system.
  • Office Leadership: Manage daily office operations and lead a small, dedicated accounts team.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong technical knowledge of Sage Accounts / Payroll and Exchequer (or equivalent finance software).
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel for financial reporting.
  • Deep familiarity with construction industry financial operations (CIS, job costing).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple financial deadlines.

Criteria

  • Essential: Proven experience managing a small team.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction industry operations and compliance.
  • Desirable: A recognised accountancy qualification (IATI or equivalent).
