The Opportunity

RMErecruit is seeking a detail-driven Accounts Assistant for our client in Belfast. This is a 100% office-based role centered on the core transactional engine of the finance department. We are looking for a specialist who thrives on accuracy and meeting deadlines within a professional, stable team environment.

The Role

  • Accounts Payable: Manage the end-to-end purchase ledger, including invoice processing, statement reconciliations, and preparing weekly/monthly payment runs.
  • Payroll Administration: Accurately process payroll, ensuring all hours, statutory deductions, and pension contributions are handled on time and in compliance with regulations.
  • Transactional Finance: Monitor bank transactions, assist with month-end reconciliations, and maintain an organized audit trail for all financial documentation.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure all ledger entries are coded correctly and that financial records are kept up to date for reporting purposes.

  • Experience: Proven background in a transactional finance role with a strong grasp of Accounts Payable and Payroll processes.
