This is your chance to join a growing, yet niche, manufacturing company who work with a huge range of engineering, manufacturing and technical companies, nationwide. With a good mix of both existing accounts for you to nurture and new business for you to bring in, you’ll have good autonomy across the entire northern region. Being based mainly on the road (3-4 days a week) your day-to-day will include:
- Identifying and generating sales leads and following through to conversion
- Preparing and delivering technical demonstrations of products and services
- Handling installation queries and any product issues
- Prepare, negotiate and close sales
- Liaise with other teams in the company to train, support and ensure processes run as smoothly as possible
Our Ideal Candidate
It goes without saying that, as our ideal candidate, you’ll not only have experience in a technical, engineering or manufacturing background, but have at least 5 years solid sales experience, ideally in a field base capacity. You will also:
- Understand technical equipment, with experience in welding/fabrication (desirable but not essential)
- Be driven, independent and strategic with developing a patch
- Easily build good relationships with both potential and current customers
- Be happy to travel across (mainly) the north of the UK
- Have worked with a variety of software – Microsoft, CRM systems etc.
