We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Credit Controller to join a busy finance team.

This is a varied role where you'll take ownership of the sales ledger, build strong customer relationships, and support wider finance activities.

Key Responsibilities for the Credit Controller

  • Manage outstanding customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of payments.
  • Maintain and reconcile the sales ledger, including payment allocation and account queries.
  • Produce regular debtor and credit control reports to support financial performance.
  • Process credit applications, complete credit checks, and help manage customer credit limits.
  • Support the wider finance function with administrative and transactional tasks as required.
  • Key Requirements of the Credit Controller
  • Previous experience in credit control or sales ledger management.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to resolve queries professionally.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, with experience of finance/accounting systems (such as Sage) being advantageous.
