About the Role
RMD Adventure Learning C.I.C is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated Youth Support Workers to join our bank staff team. This flexible role offers the opportunity to support a range of youth provision across North Hampshire, working directly with young people in safe, inclusive, and engaging environments. You will support the delivery of sessions across a variety of projects, including youth clubs, targeted youth programmes, and holiday activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging youth sessions and activities
- Build positive, professional relationships with young people
- Encourage participation, inclusion, and personal development
- Support the delivery of programmes such as:
- Bramley Youth Club
- Brookvale Youth Club
- Positive Pathways Youth Panel
- Summer Holiday Activity Programme (HAF)
Person Specification
Essential
- Passion for working with young people
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly across different locations and projects
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
- Understanding of (or willingness to learn about) safeguarding and professional boundaries
Desirable
- Previous experience in youth work, education, sports coaching, or similar
- Knowledge of youth work principles and practice
- First Aid qualification (or willingness to complete training)
- Full UK driving licence or access to attend locations
Training & Development
- Full induction and ongoing training will be provided
- Opportunity to work towards a recognised Youth Work Qualification (Level 2 or Level 3)
