We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Concrete Mixer Driver to join a well-established operation based in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Driver looking for consistent Monday to Friday work with competitive pay.
Job Details
- Location: Northampton
- Position: Class 2 Concrete Mixer Driver
- Hours: Monday to Friday
- Start Times: Between 05:00 and 07:00
- Pay: £18.50 per hour LTD, £17.00 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay)
Responsibilities
- Delivering ready-mix concrete safely and efficiently to customer sites.
- Operating a concrete mixer vehicle in accordance with company procedures.
- Completing daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects.
- Providing excellent customer service on every delivery.
- Following all road traffic legislation, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A positive attitude with a strong commitment to safety.
- Previous concrete mixer experience is desirable but not essential, as training may be provided for the right candidate.
