Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver Location: Corby, Northamptonshire Salary: £15.00/hour PAYE (£16.81/hour incl. holiday) | £130/day + Bonus when permanent Job Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm Start Time: 6:50 AM – finish varies depending on deliveries (typically 2 PM to 6 PM) Sector: Driving / Logistics / Construction 🚛 Job Description: We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team in Corby. This is a temp-to-perm role, with the opportunity to go full-time for the right candidate. You’ll be responsible for delivering materials to local construction sites using a barrel mixer or volumetric truck. Full training is provided unless you already have relevant experience. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: * Drive Class 2 HGV vehicles to deliver materials * Operate barrel mixers and volumetric trucks (training provided) * Complete all deliveries on the daily job sheet * Clean down the truck at the end of each shift * Communicate clearly and follow health & safety on-site * Work closely with a small, supportive team ✅ What We’re Looking For: * Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence * Ideally 2 years’ HGV experience * Must speak and understand English clearly (for site safety) * Hard-working, reliable and a good team player * Willingness to learn and train on new vehicle types 💷 Pay & Benefits: While Temp (through RMB): * £15.00/hour PAYE * £16.81/hour PAYE including holiday pay Once Permanent with the Company: * £130/day * Bonus Scheme: £3.00 per delivery ticket * (Average weekly bonus: £80–£100) * Ongoing training on specialist vehicles * Friendly and supportive work environment * Immediate starts available 📩 How to Apply: If you\’re looking for a long-term HGV role with training and great earning potential, apply today with your CV.
