Infrastructure Engineering - Senior Engineer in London

You will work as part of a project-focused delivery team to produce infrastructure aligned with RM’s reference architectures and design patterns using Infrastructure as Code. You will be a key collaborator within a project-focused delivery team alongside architects and application developers, working with the wider Infrastructure Engineering team to ensure a united and cohesive approach across all projects. Your insights and expertise will be instrumental in setting an extremely high standard of infrastructure coding, and your keen eye for detail and diagnostic skills will be invaluable. You will build on the combined skills and strengths of the Infrastructure Engineering team through mentorship.

• Develop infrastructure and application deployment pipelines.
• Deploy new and changed infrastructure and applications.
• Support project delivery through timely delivery of quality infrastructure and pipelines.
• Refine and improve existing deployment processes to support continuous improvement of delivery.
• Produce technical documentation to a high standard.
• Provide 4th line escalation for infrastructure issues including on call (on a rota basis).
• Mentorship within the Infrastructure Engineering team.

• Great knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of Security, IAM, Networking, and Database concepts.
• Extensive experience of the following products: Gitlab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Docker, Terraform, Bash, Packer, Ansible.
• Familiarity with standard project lifecycle processes.
• Time management skills: ability to understand business impact and prioritise tasks accordingly.
