RM Recruit are working in partnership with a fantastic organisation who are looking to appoint an experienced Interim Financial Accountant on an initial six-month basis. There is scope for this role to be extended and offered on a permanent basis. This presents an excellent opportunity for a technically strong finance professional to join an established finance team at an important time, providing additional financial accounting support while the organisation works through its current audit and year-end requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the financial accounts are accurate, robust and audit-ready, whilst also strengthening processes and supporting the development of the wider finance team. Working closely with the existing finance function and external accountants/auditors, you will take ownership of key financial accounting activities for the 2026/27 financial year. A key focus will be addressing outstanding accounting matters, implementing recommendations arising from the audit process and ensuring the organisation is in a strong position for future audits.
