The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

RM Recruit are working with a sizable charity to recruit an Interim Finance Business Partner for their team. This role has ownership of the budget and forecasting process for a set region and will support a range of front line managers. This is a remote role but will require 2 days per month in the Yorkshire region. All travel and accommodation costs will be paid, and the contract will have a duration of 6 months.

Your remit will include, but not be limited to:

  • Delivery of Finance Business Partner services to ensure a timely process and a high level of accuracy and engagement.
  • Production of the monthly management accounts for your region, including KPIs and explanations for any variances to budget.
  • Supporting budget holders to provide advice and challenge the performance of front line operations.
  • Identifying trends and opportunities for improved financial performance.
  • Ensuring best practices are adhered to in the region supporting budget holders so their output is compliant with organisational and statutory requirements.
  • Provision of support and guidance to operational staff to assist them in effective use of the Trust financial systems.
  • Monthly review of staffing rotas, payroll, and commissioned income.
  • Income review for any uplifts including annual housing rental review.
  • Managing 2 Assistant Finance Business Partners.
  • Reconciliation of the Income proof in totals.
  • Close work with the Charities Financial Controller to ensure all financial returns are completed for your given region.
  • Responsible for the review of relevant expense (nominal) codes, ensuring income and expenditure is coded appropriately.

This role is suitable for experienced finance professionals who can demonstrate significant experience in Charity and/or Social Housing environments. Part Qualified and Qualified by Experience accountants can be considered if the relevant business partnering experience can be demonstrated.
