RM Recruit is proud to be partnering with a reputable third-sector organisation to recruit an experienced and proactive HR Manager on a full-time, 2-3 month fixed-term contract. This role is based on-site in Handsworth, Monday to Friday, and offers the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. This role is ideal for a dynamic HR professional who can provide leadership and guidance on all aspects of human resources, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, providing expert advice and support to managers and employees.
  • Manage employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinaries, and conflict resolution.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with employment law.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and leave management in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Provide guidance on performance management, training, and development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data confidentiality.
  • Assist with any HR-related projects and change management initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is desirable but not essential.
