RM Recruit are proud to be partnering with a forward-thinking organisation based in Ryton-on-Dunsmore who are seeking a driven HR Assistant to join their team on a part-time, 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover. This role involves working 3 days per week onsite. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to further develop their HR career within a supportive and fast-paced working environment. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR function, providing administrative support across a range of HR activities while ensuring a professional and confidential approach at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with all aspects of HR administration
- Supporting the recruitment process, including arranging interviews and preparing offer documentation
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
- Assisting with onboarding and induction processes for new starters
- Supporting payroll administration and absence management where required
- Preparing HR letters, contracts, and other documentation
- Responding to employee queries in a professional and timely manner
- Supporting the HR team with ad hoc projects and general administration
