RM Recruit are working with a large Social Housing provider to recruit an Interim Finance Business Partner for their team.
This remote role works alongside Directors and Senior Management to provide wide ranging information and analysis to fuel decision support in achieving strategic and long-term objectives.
The Finance Business Partner is responsible for budget management, financial forecasting and performance analysis in order to support a wide range of projects and stakeholder requests from across the organisation.
- Duties for the Finance Business Partner will include, but not be limited to:
- Support the organisation in developing and delivering agreed financial performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), driving continuous improvement and value for money across operational activities in line with the Group’s business and financial plans.
- Assist budget holders with the preparation and review of monthly financial forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with Directors and Senior Managers to plan, set, and manage the annual budget, ensuring accurate forecasting and performance monitoring in line with delegated authority and financial regulations.
- Uphold value for money principles in all procurement activities, actively seeking opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Engage with budget holders and designated staff to identify gaps in financial understanding, and support the senior leadership team in designing and delivering targeted training and guidance.
This role will have a duration of 4 - 6 months and will be fully remote.
