RM Recruit are partnering with a Birmingham based charity to recruit a Part Time Finance Director for their team. With an established finance team already in place, this newly created role will support the charity with commercial decision making and overall strategy development.
Part time hours are negotiable with 2 – 4 days per week under consideration.
Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
- Overall responsibility, via delegation, for all financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning
- Supporting the delivery of income generation activity and maximising grant income
- Review of new contract opportunities concerning their financial sustainability and related bidding processes
- Medium and long term financial strategic and project planning
- Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to the CEO, trustees and senior management
- Via financial stewardship, support the continued growth of the charity
This role will be hybrid with one full working day per week required onsite. We are seeking candidates who have operated in charity/not for profit environments and who hold qualified accountant status. Ideally you will have held Director or “Number 1” level finance roles but our client is open to considering senior candidates looking to step up from within the sector.
