RM Recruit are pleased to be working with a housing association, seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Rent and Service Charge Officer to join their team in Evesham on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring accurate rent setting and compliance while enjoying the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the annual rent increase process, ensuring all calculations are accurate and compliant with relevant legislation and policy.
  • Maintain and monitor rent and service charge data to ensure it is up to date and accurate.
  • Assist with the preparation of revenue management accounts.
  • Assist with preparation of annual budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and sector best practice related to rent and service charges.
  • Provide clear, accurate, and timely information to internal stakeholders and residents regarding rent and service charge queries.
  • Assist with audits and reporting requirements related to rent and service charge functions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of rent and service charge systems and processes.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in rent setting, rent reviews, or housing finance, ideally within the social housing sector.
  • Working towards ACCA/CIMA qualified.
