RM Recruit are supporting a Worcestershire based Multi Academy Trust that requires an Interim Finance Director to join their team. This role will guide an established and stable finance team whilst the Trust restructures its management team.
Key deliverables:
- Overseeing the Management Accounting process in the lead up to the Autumn term audit
- Preparing the Budget Forecast Returns
- Preparing for Year End Auditor liaison in the lead up to and during the audit
- Oversee an end to end review of how the current finance system (IRIS) is utilised
This role will have a duration of 3 - 6 months and will operate on a hybrid/remote basis. However, 1 - 2 days per week will be required onsite. Part time working is also a consideration.
Experience in the Academy Trust sector is essential and we can consider applicants who have sector experience but have not operated in a “number one” finance role.
