Administrative Officer in Birmingham

Administrative Officer in Birmingham

Birmingham Full-Time On-site
R

RM Recruit is partnering with a prominent Academy Trust to deliver a critical, fast-paced compliance audit and data-migration project across a number of schools based around Birmingham.

We need sharp, detail-oriented Administrative Officers with the capacity to manage the collection, verification, and migration of critical compliance documents on-site. You will not just be doing basic data entry; you will be driving the delivery of this project from start to finish.

Key Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

  • Availability: Must be immediately available to start.
  • Vetting: Must hold an active DBS check (ideally on the Update Service) due to working within school environments.
  • Mobility: Must possess a valid UK Driver’s License and own a car. This is a mobile role requiring daily travel to various school sites.

Main duties include:

  • Compliance Auditing: Reviewing school personnel files on-site to identify critical missing information, specifically checking for missing employment contracts, barring checklists, teaching qualification checks, and official offer letters.
  • System Migration: Sourcing, scanning, and uploading missing physical documentation directly into the system.
  • Taking full ownership of your assigned schools. You will manage the compliance checklists locally, ensure nothing is missed, and drive the project forward to meet tight deadlines.
  • Traveling daily to designated school sites across regions

As the ideal candidate you will possess previous administration or compliance experience (experience within an educational or HR setting using SAM People software is a massive advantage).

A self-starter who has the capacity to manage a checklist log independently and prioritise gaps logically (e.g., clearing site gaps systematically before moving to the next). You will be availble immediately and possess excellent communication skills to coordinate with school leadership teams on-site.

RM Recruit is committed to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and will treat all applicants equally irrespective of sex, sexual orientation, marital/civil partnership status, age, disability, race, religion, pregnancy, ethnic or national origin
