Duties:

  • Safely operate a heavy-duty lorry to transport goods and materials to designated locations
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, vehicle maintenance, and customer service
  • Operate hook loader/chain lift lorry in the Portadown/Banbridge area

Experience:

  • Valid Class 1 or Class 2 driver's license, with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience as a class 1 driver or in a similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing the transportation industry
  • Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including tractor-trailers and flatbeds
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Β£150.00 per day
