Duties:
- Safely operate a heavy-duty lorry to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, vehicle maintenance, and customer service
- Operate hook loader/chain lift lorry in the Portadown/Banbridge area
Experience:
- Valid Class 1 or Class 2 driver's license, with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a class 1 driver or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing the transportation industry
- Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including tractor-trailers and flatbeds
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines
