Our Projects Division specializing in the supply of specialist electrical material to oil and gas projects located across the globe is looking to employ a Projects Bid Specialist to join their Projects Sales Team. Working as an integral part of the global project sales function, the successful candidate will own, support, and execute multiple crucial functions within the bidding process, as well as take ownership of various project stages to ensure the submission of winning proposals.
Branch/Division: R&M Projects Division, Turnpike House, Tollgate, Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh, Hampshire, SO53 3TG, United Kingdom.
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Performance related bonus.
Hours: Monday - Thursday; 8.00 am - 5.00 pm (with one-hour lunch break). Friday; 8.00 am - 4.30 pm (with one-hour lunch break).

Main Duties:
- Developing an understanding of R&M, our role within the market sector and how we can best position ourselves to be successful.
- Working as part of our global project sales team to play a role in the defining of project acquisition strategy.
- Acting as a project focal point in order to share information and drive forward bid creation.
- Managing pre-qualification and bid submission, ensuring that all agreed actions are performed as required and submitted on time.
- Taking ownership of bid documentation to ensure proposals are accurate, free from risk and technically compliant.
- All tasks to be performed in compliance with the Groups Health & Safety and Quality Control systems.
Key Skills:
- Possess a desire to take ownership and responsibility of your work programme to drive forward our global success.
- Be a strong written and verbal communicator, who is confident to build relationships at all levels both up and down the supply chain.
- Have attention to detail, understand why you need to complete a task and how to do it.
- Have experience of working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Sharepoint etc) and Adobe software packages.
- Want to work as part of a dynamic and focused team.
- Have a desire to become part of our future.
Training: Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial but not essential. Training will be given on all aspects of the liaison with customers and suppliers and any additional IT required.
