Group Procurement plays a strategic and centralised role in managing and optimising the procurement activities across all divisions. It’s primary purpose is to ensure the organisation secures best value for goods and services, whilst ensuring compliance with corporate policies and ethical standards.
Responsibilities

Assist in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, goods, and services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.

Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders using ERP or procurement systems.

Coordinate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications.

Communicate with suppliers to track orders and ensure timely delivery.

Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an updated supplier database.

Handle documentation and filing related to procurement activities (contracts, POs, invoices).

Help resolve supply issues and discrepancies in collaboration with the procurement team.
Experience
- Experience in procurement or supply chain is preferred (Industry placements/internships included).
- Familiarity with procurement software and Microsoft Office products.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Agresso).
- Basic understanding of contract terms and vendor management.
