Reporting into the Senior Brand Marketing Manager, you will use market information to develop and deliver marketing campaigns that drive acquisition and retention in our Primary schools\’ customer segment. You will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy and its delivery for this business area, playing a direct role in increasing our market share and revenue, developing brand awareness and promoting our products into the education markets. You will take full ownership of an annual DM marketing plan to achieve revenue and net customer numbers, manage and deliver all relevant events (with support from the wider team) and manage key strategic partnerships. You will line manage the Senior Marketing Executive (Early years segment) and be responsible for developing and supporting her in her role.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the GTM strategy for the Primary schools\’ market segment through offline activity, events and relevant partnership activity.
  • Build campaigns to drive customer behaviour – customer acquisition, retention, attrition, revenue growth through omni-channel campaigns.
  • Actively seek new opportunities to increase customer penetration in this market segment.
  • Support on online strategy to become a digital 1st business and drive online sales.
  • Oversee strategic partnerships with key associations.
  • Oversee and project manage events cross-functionally.
  • Manage and deliver the annual DM plan within budget and prescribed timelines.
  • Support the Creative team with photography shoots to deliver imagery and content that will drive customer engagement.
  • Manage and develop the Senior Marketing Executive for the Early Years market.
  • Conduct market research for division to support strategy and new opportunities.
  • Brief and develop the creative with the in-house creative team.
  • Use data to monitor the impact of campaigns and help form future plans.
  • Manage and monitor budget to ensure all activity is within planned spend.
  • Work cross-functionally to gain stakeholder support and buy-in.

Experience

  • A full Driving License and ability to travel within the UK.
  • Experience of being \’hands-on\’ at events and photoshoots.
  • Required in the office / at location 2 days a week minimum.
  • Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on omni-channel marketing strategies to meet the company objectives.
  • Marketing experience within a related industry would be desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to understand data and make data-led strategic decisions.
  • Strong planning, negotiation and organising skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels and strong stakeholder engagement.
  • Able to multi-task and achieve deadlines and targets with excellence.
  • A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • A proven ability to oversee all marketing and advertising activities.
