Short term Locum requirement with a well regarded high street law firm in Devon. Assisting to cover a senior team member with Litigation work. Holiday cover requirement from end June 2026 for 12 days. Fully remote working possible.
Position Overview
Our client, a well regarded high street law firm in Devon, is seeking an experienced Litigation Lawyer/Solicitor to assist with a holiday cover period at the end of June 2026. The workload is predominantly Contractual, Commercial Property & Regulatory Litigation work. The role can be carried out fully remotely if necessary, or hybrid or office working also available. Full or part time hours (min 3, max 5).
Responsibilities
- Manage a variety of civil litigation law work.
- Communicate effectively with clients, agents, and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely completion of legal documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' PQE as a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive (or otherwise qualified by experience) in Litigation Law.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and client service abilities.
- Great team player, friendly and organised.
Benefits
- Hybrid or fully remote working options, on an ideally full time basis, but part time hours considered.
- Market hourly rate of circa £45 to £55 per hour.
