A well-established high street law firm in Devon is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to contribute to its growing department. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious commercial property lawyer looking to work for a well regarded business, handling good quality work, to directly contribute to the growth and success of a department and law firm. There is scope with this role for future progression into Head of Dept and Partnership (both salaried and equity).
Position Overview
You will join a friendly and long standing high street practice to handle Commercial Property work. There is a small team and lots of potential for business development, growth and progression in the role. The position assists providing services to a wide range of developers, contractors, investors, buyers and sellers on all aspects of business property and potentially some general commercial legal work such as contracts. This is a full or part-time, primarily office-based position, though hybrid remote working is available for a couple of days per week.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive
- Minimum 2+ years’ PQE in Commercial Property Law work.
- Strong technical ability across a broad range of matters
- Confident in managing and developing client relationships
- Proven leadership potential or experience
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- A collaborative, team-focused approach
- Ambitious and possibly motivated to progress to partnership
