Salary: £45 to £55ph
- Locum/FTC Solicitor requirement in small residential conveyancing team of long standing city centre based law firm.
- Urgent cover required to start as soon as possible.
- On site working required.
- 4 or 5 days per week working hours required.
- Caseload - 20% usual high street residential property law work, 80% shared ownership matters.
Our client, a well regarded high street law firm in central Bristol is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer with shared ownership experience to assist with an urgent locum cover in their team.
Position Overview
The Residential Conveyancer will play a crucial role in assisting the firm through a busy period whilst they are recruiting a new permanent member of the team. The role is to start ASAP and for an initial 3 months, although could feasible last longer and/or convert to a permanent position for the right candidate. The requirement is fully on site.
Responsibilities
- Manage mostly shared ownership with some usual residential conveyancing matters.
- Communicate effectively with clients, agents, and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely completion of legal documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records.
- Work well within a team.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years' PQE as a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive (or otherwise qualified by experience) in Residential Property Law.
- Must have experience of Shared Ownership Conveyancing law.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and client service abilities.
