A well-established and forward-thinking high street law firm in South Devon is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join its supportive and friendly team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 8+ PQE and a wealth of experience handling their own private client caseload who is looking to join a smaller practice offering a genuinely supportive working environment with good quality local work.
The role
You will manage a varied private client caseload from instruction through to completion, including:
- Administration of Estates & Probates
- Wills
- LPAs
- General Elderly Client advice including Tax matters
About you
You will be a safe pair of hands, able to act on an unsupervised basis. You will have access to a lot of good quality work coming in and this role would therefore suit someone keen to get their head down and do the work that they love, happy in their own skin and not necessarily seeking progression or business development opportunities.
You may be a Solicitor or Legal Executive. You will have a wealth of experience, 8 PQE + in the area of Private Client Law, and will be confident dealing with clients and progressing transactions.

This is a small, forward-thinking South Devon practice with a strong local presence and a supportive approach to its staff. The successful candidate will join a friendly team where they can make a genuine contribution to the department.
Salary: £45 to 60k depending on experience
Location: South Hams area, South Devon
Working pattern: Full or part time. Flexible hours available and hybrid remote/on site working.
