We are looking for an experienced Audit & Risk Project Manager to incept and lead the delivery of our audit programme, whilst helping strengthen our assurance and risk management framework, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, builds strong relationships with senior stakeholders nationally and internationally, and brings clarity and rigour to complex operational activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the endâtoâend planning, coordination, and delivery of internal audits.
- Ensure potential risks are accurately assessed, monitored, and escalated.
- Partner with business leaders to embed effective risk controls and generate best practices.
- Track audit actions, produce highâquality reports, and present updates to senior leadership and committees.
- Support policy development, assurance reviews, and governance projects.
- Drive process improvements to strengthen organisational resilience and operational effectiveness.
About You
- Strong experience in audit, risk, compliance, or governance roles.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders based both in the UK and overseas.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of audit risk frameworks or qualification is desirable.
