Hybrid working role, 3 days office based (City of London, EC1M) * Salary – £30,000 Annually This professional membership body based in the City of London is currently seeking a Membership Executive to join them, with the main emphasis of this role being to support existing members and focus on membership growth and business development, through the delivery of the organisation’s strategies. Accommodating and advising existing and new members for educational and service enquiries whilst adhering to and improving membership processes – typical responsibilities will include but are not limited to: * Acting as first point of contact for membership enquiries, completing application checks, updating the CRM, maintenance of information on the website, assist with membership renewal processes to include producing certificates and ensuring receipt of payment * Arranging committee/council meetings and events, preparing presentations, meeting papers and take meeting minutes * Extensively liaising with members and key stakeholders to deliver solutions * Ensuring that compliance procedures are always followed and keep up to date on relevant changes to legislations/laws The suitable candidate will be extremely organised with excellent administrative abilities. You will work well autonomously and as part of a team; and possess strong report writing and IT skills. Previous experience of working within a professional membership role is advantageous but not essential. Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement is a must. Board meetings/committee experience is beneficial. Strong IT/Systems skills are a must (MS Excel, Outlook & Word) as is the ability to learn new systems quickly.
