Perm role, to £80,000 Plus bonus. Hybrid working. Office located in Holborn, London WC2A.
This well-regarded organisation, based in London, is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Head of Department for its unit that specialises in developing events alongside education and training programmes for the financial services industry. There is excellent potential to expand these initiatives both in type and number to increase revenue and brand awareness.
There is a team consisting of marketers, training specialists and event operations to help with ideas and execution, but this role is created to be the driving force behind this new initiative.
Responsibilities
- Take a strategic and consultative lead to market development and commercial expansion for events and education initiatives.
- Drive growth by building and managing long-term relationships and pipelines with clients and partners.
- Lead and collaborate with diverse teams to develop and execute ideas and programmes.
- Act as the driving force behind the new initiative to expand the organisation’s events and training offerings in the financial services sector.
Qualifications and experience
- Considerable experience in business development within an events/training environment.
- Ability to balance strategic development with relationship-building and pipeline development.
