RLM JOBS are currently looking for HGV2 refuse drivers to work with our prestigious client based NEAR Poole. YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUS DUSTCART EXPERIENCE. The role involves driving around Wareham and the surrounding area following a set route with a team of loaders emptying bins. At times you may be required to help the crews emptying the bins.
Other Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with company policies regarding safety and vehicle operation.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents promptly to management.
Qualifications
- Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for driving HGV2 vehicles.
- Valid CPC and tacho card.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and commercial driving standards.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and able to work as part of a team.
