We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV1 Driver to work with our clients across the area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various types of cargo.

Responsibilities
Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Load and unload cargo, securing it properly for safe transport.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Ensure that the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained at all times.
Adhere to company policies and procedures related to safety and operational efficiency.
Experience
Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar commercial driving role is preferred.
A valid HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) licence is required, along with a clean driving record.
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. xgikmsk
