About us: With 710 spacious, soundproofed bedrooms, amazing runway views and a great selection of Food and Beverage outlets, Renaissance London Heathrow is the perfect location for airport travellers. The hotel has 15 well-appointed conference and meeting rooms, catering for up to 600 delegates. It offers a large gym facility, business centre and on-site parking with ample spaces for both guests and employees of the hotel.
A bit about what you will do: Night security Officers in our team always ensure a safe and secure environment for both guests and employees of our hotel and grounds during the night. Assisting our Security Manager put security measures in place for the visits of guests and VIPs to the hotel and surrounding area. Monitoring surveillance cameras and assisting with investigations when necessary. Carry out security patrols ensuring no unauthorised access in matters involving security, fire and health & safety. Conduct random checks of key registers and locker checks to ensure the hotel’s policies are adhered to and report on discrepancies. Ensure no undesirables loiter in or around the hotel premises. Be alert for any unusual packages, guests or vehicles and advise security manager.
More about you: Confidence & professionalism when interacting with our guests. Excellent communication skills. Remain calm whilst under pressure. Ability to be correct, secure and courteous in handling any disciplinary or criminal cases. You value being part of a team and supporting your colleagues. A smart and professional appearance. Most of all, you will have an approachable, positive, and proactive manner. 4-star hotel experience in a similar role would be a real advantage. SIA Licence a must.
