RLE International is working on behalf of their Essex based Automotive Client, who are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician to support and join their expanding team.

Position Description:

Vehicle Technician Rate: £23.24 (Via Umbrella PAYE) increasing to £29.36 after 13 weeks under AWR’s – Agency Worker Regulations.

Interface to workshop and test facilities as required achieving set tasks/goals.

Skills Required:

  • Work as a member of a team to keep vehicles updated with correct level h/w and controls.
  • Arrange installation of required instrumentation with relevant workshop groups.
  • Organize vehicle test fleet activities - climatic test in chamber and test trip organisation.
  • Arranging shipment of vehicles and equipment as required.
  • Carry out administrative duties - documentation of vehicles - registration, tax etc. coordination and records keeping, shipping documentation, requisitioning equipment and materials.
  • Keeping and working to plans as required to support the calibration team.

Experience Required:

Experience in Vehicle testing and Powertrain Calibration activities.

Experience Preferred:

Ability to Log data using calibration tools, update controls modules as required.

Education Required:

Engineering Related.

Location: Dunton Office Based - no Hybrid.
