RLE International is working on behalf of their Essex based Automotive Client, who are currently looking for an Indirect Buyer to support and join their expanding team.
Position Description:
- Rate: £29.59ph (via Umbrella PAYE) increasing to £36.56ph after 13 weeks under AWR’s – Agency Worker Regulations.
The Buyer will be responsible for working with the client’s internal stakeholders on procurement of Indirect goods & services – specifically sourcing/monitoring an Integrated Facility Management (IFM) service contract with an external vendor at multiple locations.
Responsibilities include:
- Issuing orders
- Annual contract renewals
- Negotiating pricing or cost saving opportunities
- Monitoring supplier performance through KPI’s (existing or to be developed)
- Investigating issues and proposing issue resolution/performance improvement strategies with client’s stakeholders
Skills Required:
- Seeking an individual who is highly flexible, self-motivated and an independent worker
- Excellent English skills mandatory
- Fully competent with Microsoft Office Tools
- Excellent numerical & analytical skills and the ability to collect & analyse highly complex data
- Knowledge of SAP Ariba procurement system
- Strong business and commercial acumen and excellent written and verbal abilities
Skills Preferred:
- Negotiation skills very advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills including relationship building
- Experience of working in cross functional teams is highly beneficial
- Knowledge of Purchasing policies, procedures and systems
- Other European languages advantageous but not essential
Experience Required:
- Contract management experience

- Knowledge of our client’s Indirect Purchasing
Education Required:
- Degree or relevant experience required
