We're searching for a London-based Director, Procurement to join our Finance & Strategic Operations team, so that we can build and lead a world‑class global procurement capability. The Director, Procurement will design and execute the next stage of RLDatix's procurement maturity—standardising processes, strengthening governance, and driving better commercial outcomes—to ensure our global vendor ecosystem is managed with rigour, transparency, and strategic intent across a spend portfolio expected to scale to ~$100M+.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • Building and maturing RLDatix's global procurement function — standardising intake, evaluation, negotiation, and approval processes for significant spend — to deliver consistent, audit‑ready, and commercially optimized outcomes across all regions.
  • Owning and refining the end‑to‑end P2P lifecycle — from intake request to purchase order to payment — to ensure clarity of roles, efficient workflows, and strong internal controls across multiple geographies and legal entities.
  • Leading vendor engagement, selection, and renewal processes globally — negotiating complex software and services agreements, including licensing, usage‑based pricing, renewals, and true‑ups — to maximize commercial value while supporting business growth and adoption.
  • Developing and evolving procurement governance frameworks, approval thresholds, and auditable workflows to support compliance across areas including AI governance, data protection, and information security.
  • Introducing and leveraging tools such as NetSuite, intake/orchestration platforms, CLM solutions, and emerging AI‑driven technologies to automate and streamline procurement processes and deliver data‑driven insights to senior stakeholders.

What Kind of Things We’re Most Interested in You Having

  • Significant experience (8+ years) in procurement within a Technology or SaaS environment, with hands‑on responsibility for software negotiations, vendor management, and P2P process ownership.
  • Proven success designing and executing strategic sourcing strategies that span intake, evaluation, negotiation, renewal, and rationalization — particularly across software, cloud, and enterprise technology categories.
  • Demonstrated experience building or significantly maturing a procurement function from the ground up, including processes, policies, tools, and KPIs, in a growth or transformation environment.
  • In‑depth knowledge of procurement governance and compliance, including developing audit‑ready documentation and controls for spend, vendor, and asset management across multinational, multi‑entity organisations.
  • High degree of technology fluency, including experience with ERP and procurement tooling (e.g., NetSuite, P2P suites, intake/orchestration platforms, Ramp or similar) and an awareness of how AI and automation are reshaping the procurement landscape.
  • A knack for working collaboratively and independently within a fast‑paced, globally matrixed environment, building trusted relationships with Finance, CIS/IT, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Security, and senior business leaders.
  • Ability to commute to our London office three days per week, with willingness to undertake periodic international travel to North America and EMEA locations.
