– X3 Roles Available AT Operator Reporting to the Value Stream Manager, the AT Operator will be required to carry out a range of stitching and assembly duties on fabric sub-assemblies and assemblies to the required standards of quality and output within defined procedures and in line with customer requirements.
Main Duties & Responsibilities include: Establish job requirements from drawings, production cards or job instruction sheets.
Stitching using industrial single, double and 4-needle machines, automatics, zigzags, CNCs, binders, overlockers etc.
Cutting, marking, gluing, identing, assembling and other manual sub-assembly work.
Pack/unpack components to company specifications.
Verify the work which has been carried out and record as necessary.
Record any other necessary data.
Always operate any equipment or process in a safe manner in line with proper procedure and wear appropriate clothing/equipment.
Any additional tasks or duties deemed necessary to meet all responsibilities of the role.
Advantageous Experience: Experience in a fabric assembly / sewing environment.
Experience with using various types of sewing machines.
Experience in an Engineering / Manufacturing / Aerospace environment.
Experience of working with small components.
Ability to read and understand work instructions.
Experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and production cards.
